Murakami Desktopby ~nicolebarker

After Visiting the Murakami exhibit at the Brooklyn Museum. I was very inspired to look up more of his artwork on flickr. I found an image of one of the wallpapers he made, and remember that when I walked into that room of the exhibit with this wallpaper... I just felt happier. I figured since I'm always so stressed out working on my computer all the time, the best wallpaper I could put up would be something that would make me smile

Since the image on flicker was so busy, I did some photomanipulation to the left side to include an empty area where my desktop icons could go.

i love it! i've been searching the web for a good image as a background. it's exactly what i've been looking for! Kiki and KaiKai are my favorites, have you seen the movies? Too cute. Is it possible to get the image without your desktop icons so other Murakami and Nicole Barker fans can have the same background?? please email me if you can!!

that is one of the aspects of the image that I like as well.
All of Murakami's work is very colorful.
